About CSS Formatter and Minifier
Strings, url() values and comments are kept intact. Minifying removes comments except those starting /*! (usually licences), collapses whitespace and drops the last semicolon in each block; it never changes selectors or values.
Everything runs in this browser tab: your text is never uploaded or stored, and the result updates as you type. It keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
