About Merge PDF

Bring related documents into one ordered PDF. Select the source PDFs together, inspect their thumbnails and arrange the resulting pages with Earlier and Later or drag controls. The final document follows the visible page order rather than the alphabetical order of filenames.

Merging copies page content into a new document. Document-level features such as outlines, portfolios, form logic or certificate signatures may not survive page copying. Keep original signed documents when their authenticity matters. Encrypted inputs require a readable copy first; the separate Unlock PDF workflow uses a password you provide and produces a flattened visual copy.

Merge PDF: frequently asked questions

How do I merge two or more PDF files?

Choose the PDFs, arrange the pages with drag or the Earlier and Later controls, and select Merge PDF. The final document follows the order you see, not the file names.

Can I reorder or leave out pages while merging?

Yes. All pages appear as thumbnails, so you can move individual pages or remove ones you do not need before saving.

Is there a limit on files or pages?

There is no fixed limit. Everything happens in your browser, so very large files depend on your device’s memory.

Will bookmarks and form fields be kept?

Page content is copied, but document-level features such as bookmarks, form logic and digital signatures may not survive merging. Keep the originals of signed documents.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Remove the password first with Unlock PDF, using the password you already know.
