About HTML to PDF
Create a one-page PDF from a local HTML fragment or file. The same restricted renderer used for HTML images removes scripts and external resources, then embeds its PNG result into a new PDF. Width and height determine the page’s visible canvas and should be chosen before exporting.
The resulting PDF is a visual snapshot, not selectable HTML text or a paginated website. Long content outside the canvas is clipped. Remote images, fonts, stylesheets and scripts are intentionally unavailable. Simplify the fragment, divide long content yourself or use a trusted source application’s PDF export when semantic text and complex pagination matter.
HTML to PDF: frequently asked questions
How do I convert HTML to PDF?
Paste a small HTML fragment or open a local HTML file, choose the width and height, and export. The result is a one-page PDF.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
No. The HTML is rendered as an image and placed on the page, so the PDF is a visual snapshot.
Can it convert a whole web page with images and styles?
No. Scripts, remote images, stylesheets and fonts are removed for safety, and content outside the canvas is clipped. Use your browser’s Print to PDF for full pages.
Does pasted JavaScript run?
No. Scripts are removed before rendering.
