About Watermark Image
Mark a photograph with text or an image you provide. Position it with percentage coordinates, adjust opacity and rotate it to suit the composition. Image marks have an independent scale control. The repeat option distributes a mark across the picture when a single corner label would be too easy to crop away.
A watermark identifies a copy but does not enforce ownership or prevent editing. Keep contrast high enough for the mark to remain visible, then lower opacity only as far as needed. Transparent PNG logos work well as image marks. Inspect bright and dark regions before exporting because the same opacity can look different across a photograph.
Watermark Image: frequently asked questions
How do I add a watermark to a photo?
Choose the photo, type the text or choose a logo image, then set the position, opacity and rotation. Image marks also have their own size control.
Can I repeat the watermark across the whole picture?
Yes. The repeat option spreads the mark across the image, which makes it harder to crop away than a single corner label.
Which logo file works best?
A PNG logo with a transparent background, so only the mark itself appears on the photo.
Does a watermark stop people copying my image?
No. It shows who the image belongs to but does not prevent copying or editing. Keep the contrast high enough that the mark stays visible on both bright and dark areas.
