About Audio Inspector
Levels are measured in dBFS, where 0 is the loudest a digital file can be. Speech for podcasts usually peaks around −3 to −1 dBFS. Many clipped samples mean distortion that cannot be fully repaired. The file is decoded by your browser, so formats your browser cannot play cannot be inspected.
Your files are read in this browser tab and never uploaded. Nothing is stored after you close the page, and there is no size limit beyond your device’s memory.
