About Trim Audio
Play the preview and use “Use current time” to set the start and end. The soft fade adds a short fade in and out so the cut does not click. The result keeps the format of the original file.
Processing happens in this tab with FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly; your recordings are never uploaded. The first video or audio tool you use downloads the 10 MB engine once and keeps it cached for next time. On phones, files are processed one at a time to stay within memory, and long recordings take a little longer. Keep the tab open until the download appears.
