About Image Dimensions

Add one or more images to see their pixel size, aspect ratio and megapixels. Print size is calculated at the DPI you choose (300 is typical for photo prints). The DPI saved in a file is shown when present; it does not change the pixels. Download the table as CSV for spreadsheets.

Processing happens in this browser tab: your images are never uploaded, and the result is ready as soon as you download it. Large photos take a moment longer on phones; nothing is limited by size.

Image Dimensions: frequently asked questions

How do I find the width and height of an image?

Add one or more images to see their size in pixels, aspect ratio and megapixels in a table.

How is the print size calculated?

From the pixels and the DPI you choose; 300 DPI is typical for photo prints. The DPI saved in the file is shown when present, but it does not change the pixels.

Can I check many images at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like and download the table as a CSV for a spreadsheet.

Does changing DPI make a photo sharper?

No. DPI only describes how large the pixels print. Sharpness depends on the number of pixels.
