Private by design. Your files are processed in this browser tab and are never uploaded to KittySuite.

About Reverse Video

Reversing has to hold frames in memory, so KittySuite reverses the video in short chunks sized to its resolution and then joins them in reverse order. This keeps memory use low enough for phones, even for long videos, but every chunk is re-encoded, so it takes a while.

Processing happens in this tab with FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly; your files are never uploaded. The first video or audio tool you use downloads the 10 MB engine once and keeps it cached for next time. Long or high-resolution videos take longer than on a desktop editor, especially on phones, where files are processed one at a time to stay within memory. Keep the tab open until the download appears.

Reverse Video: frequently asked questions

How do I reverse a video?

Choose the video and reverse it. The sound is reversed too unless you turn that off.

Can I reverse a long video on my phone?

Yes. The video is reversed in short chunks sized to its resolution and then joined, which keeps memory use low.

Why does reversing take a while?

Every chunk has to be re-encoded. Short clips finish much faster than long ones.

Is the video uploaded?

No. FFmpeg runs inside your browser. The first video or audio tool you use downloads the roughly 10 MB engine from this site once; your files are never uploaded.
