About Rotate Image

Correct orientation on a single image or a batch. Enter a clockwise angle, including the common quarter-turn values of 90, 180 and 270 degrees, and mirror the image horizontally or vertically if needed. Apply the change to all images, landscape images only or portrait images only. Images that do not match the filter are exported without that rotation.

Quarter turns preserve a rectangular canvas. Other angles need a larger bounding rectangle and create empty corners. Choose JPG with a background colour if the destination does not accept transparent pixels. A batch can be downloaded individually or together as a ZIP. Confirm that the orientation filter matches your intent before sharing the outputs.

Rotate Image: frequently asked questions

How do I rotate a photo 90 degrees?

Choose the image, enter 90 as the clockwise angle (or 180 or 270) and save. Quarter turns keep the picture rectangular with no empty corners.

Can I rotate many images at once?

Yes. Add several images and apply the change to all of them, only to landscape images or only to portrait ones. The results can be downloaded one by one or as a ZIP.

What happens with angles that are not quarter turns?

The picture needs a larger canvas, which leaves empty corners. Save as JPG with a background colour if the destination does not accept transparency.

Can I mirror an image as well?

Yes. You can flip horizontally or vertically in the same step as the rotation.
