About Sign PDF
Place a visible signature on a PDF without a signing service. Draw with a pointer or touch, type a name, or upload a signature image. Choose a page range, position and size, then export and inspect the placement. A transparent PNG can retain the natural edges of a scanned signature.
This is visual electronic-signature placement, not cryptographic certificate signing, identity verification or a request-signature workflow. Whether a recipient accepts it depends on their process. Do not assume it establishes a particular legal status. Keep the original document and verify that the signature does not obscure important text or fall outside a page boundary.
Sign PDF: frequently asked questions
How do I sign a PDF?
Draw your signature with a mouse or finger, type your name or upload a signature image. Choose the pages, position and size, then save.
Is this a legally valid digital signature?
It places a visible signature image, not a certificate-based digital signature. Whether it is accepted depends on the recipient and the rules that apply to the document.
How do I use a scan of my real signature?
Upload it as an image. A PNG with a transparent background keeps the natural edges without a white box.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. Draw the signature with your finger on the touch screen.
