About Unlock PDF
Open a password-protected PDF using the password you already know. Enter it before selecting the file. Incorrect or missing passwords produce an actionable error; the tool never guesses or bypasses an unknown password.
The export is a new, flattened visual PDF built from rendered pages. It does not preserve searchable text, forms, links, attachments, vector precision or certificate signatures. This approach is useful when you need a readable visual copy and accept those losses. Retain the encrypted original for its full structure and only share documents you are authorized to access.
